Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2026-08-08
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of impairment, input device or technology.
Conformance status
This website was built with the aim of meeting the success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA. Based on our own audit we consider that level to be met. No external certification exists.
Measures taken
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator on every control
- Contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and controls
- All animation is switched off when reduce motion is enabled in the operating system
- Meaningful alternative text for every informative graphic, decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
- Semantically correct heading structure, a skip link to the main content, and language marked up per page
- Form fields with permanently visible labels, text error messages and live announcements for screen readers
- Text scalable to 200% without loss of content or function
- Controls with a target area of at least 24 × 24 CSS pixels
Non-accessible content
The decorative ink animations are drawn on a canvas element. They carry no information and are hidden from assistive technology. When the system setting reduce motion is enabled, they are replaced entirely by static shapes.
A few older project images exist only at lower resolution. We are replacing them as we go.
How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared on 2026-08-08, based on an internal audit using keyboard operation, screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver), automated testing tools and manual contrast measurement.
